Brief Career Background:
Dr. Morgan has been teaching courses in ethics and the history of philosophy for over ten years. His overarching passion is using the tools of philosophy - Socratic questioning, analytical reasoning, and reflective introspection - to help students learn to think clearly and communicate effectively. He has held positions at Virginia Military Institute, the University of Virginia, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Outside the academy he has worked as an ethics consultant for the National Institutes of Health, as well as for local businesses in the Birmingham area.
